With the market for displays that can withstand some harsh treatment ever expanding we are pleased to release our latest 12.1″ TFT that will meet the requirements of many of today’s industrial, medical, automotive and aerospace applications.
The 13-121GIEBCAA1-W is a 12.1″ 4:3 aspect ratio TFT panel with a resolution of 1024×768 (XGA), it comes fitted with the latest Project Capacitive Touch panel which operates with both a bare finger or a gloved hand and has passed the “Conductive Susceptibility Test EN61000-4-6. The touch will also operate with water on the surface something in the past that capacitive touch could not support, this feature allows the TFT panel and PCT assembly to operate in a host of applications within harsh environments.
The TFT panel uses IPS technology giving it ultra-wide viewing angles of 85°/85°/85°/85° without any negative grey inversion, meaning the panel can be mounted in both landscape (default) or portrait modes without the loss of colour or image quality. A high efficiency long life 30khr LED backlight light delivers a high brightness of 650cd/m² which coupled with its 900:1 contrast ratio delivers a very high optical performance. The panels wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C further enhances its credentials as a panel for a harsh environment.
