The latest addition to our stretch TFT LCD range is our 27.6″ 1920 x 150 resolution monitor, originally designed for the edge of retail shelving we however can also see great potential for this unique monitor within a host of industrial applications within the auto/aero markets as well. Please note our display is a single TFT LCD, not several smaller displays sat side by side, our display produces a single uninterrupted seamless image.
The 32:9 or 3:1 aspect ratio stretched monitor has a 27.6″ diagonal full colour TFT LCD with a full width HD resolution of 1920 x 150 providing images with life like quality and a panoramic view. A long life (≥50khrs) 500 cd/m² LED backlight produces extraordinary colour expression and great visibility even in high ambient lighting conditions found in supermarkets and train carriages. Ultra-wide viewing angles of 178° on all axis a 16.7M colour gamut and a high contrast ratio of 1000:1 all go towards producing an exceptional optical performance. For applications that require the monitor to be running 24/7, the monitor includes black mura prevention technology which restricts the TFT panel from blackening even after long periods of use.
The monitor casing is a vandal resistance metal construction and can also be supplied with an anti-glare front glass it requested, VESA mounting holes are default to enable wall, ceiling and shelf edge mounting. The monitor is equipped with a HDMI interface which can be hooked up to a media player displaying video and pictures.
