With its HDMI interface our 4.3″, 800×480 resolution TFT LCD is an ideal display solution for a host of applications within the industrial, medical and automotive/aerospace equipment markets. With HDMI fast becoming the video interface of choice for today’s engineers and designers having a TFT LCD with the HDMI connection built-in makes for simple and easy integration into your design. Using our versatile 4.3″ TFT module your design cycle can be vastly shortened, speeding up your time to market. The HDMI interface on our TFT LCD is ideal if you are planning on using a Raspberry PI or Beagle Bone SBC in your design.
The 4.3″ panel has a 800×480 WVGA resolution within an active area of 95.4 x 53.856mm, IPS technology ensures the panel delivers ultra wide viewing angles of 160° on both the X and Y axis. With no negative grey inversion and no factory set viewing angle means that the panel can be mounted in either landscape (default) or portrait orientations without the loss of colour or image quality.
A long life (50khrs) LED backlight delivers a high brightness of 450cd/m² and coupling this with an impressive contrast ratio of 800:1 plus the view viewing angles and a 16.7M colour palette an excellent optical performance is delivered. This version of the panel is fitted with the latest projected capacitive touch with an I²C interface however the panel can also be supplied with a 4W resistive touch or without touch (please contact us for detailed options).
