We have a range of character OLEDs that will drop into your existing project/product that uses a character LCD without having to redesign your drive electronics and mechanical hardware.
Character formats from 8 characters x 2 lines through to 40 characters x 2 lines including four different 16 x 2 formats, a 16 x 1, 20 x 2, 16 x 4 and 20 x 4 options. All formats have a compatible driver to the Hitachi HD44780 which set the industry standard many years ago.
OLED offers a superior optical performance over STN/FSTN LCD modules due to its super high contrast (10,000:1) with a great performance in both high ambient light and dark conditions.
