From August 24th to September 7th, 2025, Crystal Display Systems Ltd (CDS) proudly showcased its CircleVUE LED display technology at the U.S. Open, one of tennis’s most iconic global tournaments.
CDS delivered a unique blend of striking display design and interactive engagement that set a new benchmark for digital signage at live events.
At the heart of the installation was CDS’s 1.5m diameter CircleVUE circular LED display. Mounted on a heavy-duty rollable and locking rack system, the screen was positioned as the centrepiece of the sponsor booth. Its distinctive circular shape and high-resolution P2.5 indoor specification made it a focal point for fans of all ages throughout the tournament grounds.
At a major sporting event like the U.S. Open, sponsors face the challenge of breaking through the noise. Our customer wanted to create something that went beyond static branding — a solution that was interactive, memorable, and shareable to reinforce its connection with fans and the tennis community.
To bring this vision to life, CDS integrated the CircleVUE LED display with clever AI-powered avatar creation kiosks.
Fans could pose at interactive selfie stations, instantly transforming into cartoon-style tennis avatars — from players to ball persons, even trophy winners.
Their personalized avatars were then displayed on the CircleVUE screen, making fans the stars of the activation.
Visitors could capture photos alongside their on-screen avatars, creating a fun, branded keepsake to share across social media.
This unique pairing of immersive display technology with fan-generated content proved to be a game-changer in driving booth traffic and engagement.
