As the year draws to a close, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on what has been one of the most exciting and transformative years in Crystal Display Systems’ journey.
2025 has been a year defined by innovation, growth, and collaboration — driven by our customers, partners, and the dedication of the CDS team. From launching new technologies to delivering major global projects, here’s our CDS Christmas Wrapped for 2025.
A Year of New Technologies & Product Innovation
Innovation continues to sit at the heart of everything we do. In 2025, we significantly expanded our technology offering, launching multiple new product ranges and display solutions to meet evolving market demands.
This year saw the introduction of circular LED displays, mini LED, transparent MicroLED technology, fine pitch LED, UART and Linux & Android smart displays, and Flexible OLED solutions, further strengthening one of the most diverse display portfolios available today.
These additions allow our customers to push creative and technical boundaries across industrial, retail, gaming, signage, and embedded applications.
Expanding Our Established Product Ranges
Alongside new launches, we also enhanced many of our long-standing and best-selling product families.
Key additions included:
Expanded Glory Star professional tablet ranges, featuring AI updates
Large-format, high-brightness 1000-nit square displays with PCAP touch
Updates across our embedded display and computing ranges
Customer feedback and real-world project requirements continue to play a crucial role in shaping these developments.
Design Trends Shaping the Display Market
One of the most noticeable trends in 2025 has been the growing demand for flush-fit PCAP touch displays with anti-glare glass as standard.
As product design becomes increasingly important, customers are seeking cleaner aesthetics, improved durability, and enhanced usability — and we’ve responded by making flush touch and AG glass a core specification across much of our range.
A Year of Strong Growth
We’re proud to share that 2025 has also been a year of significant business growth for CDS.
Thanks to the continued trust of our long-standing customers and the addition of 102 new customers, we achieved 15% year-on-year sales growth, with an impressive 40,219 items shipped worldwide throughout the year.
This growth reflects both the strength of our product portfolio and the relationships we build with our customers.
Major Projects & Global Milestones
2025 delivered several standout moments for the business, including:
The largest single project of the year, supplying IP66-rated displays to the Middle East
Completion of our first-ever 40ft container sea shipment
Strategic acquisitions of Display Lite and FlatVision, strengthening our capabilities and market reach
These milestones represent important steps forward as CDS continues to scale globally.
Investing in People & Sustainability
This year wasn’t just about products and projects — it was also about people and progress.
We marked the retirement of Richard Murton, recognising his valued contribution and wishing him all the best in the next chapter.
We also invested in sustainability with the installation of solar panels at the CDS headquarters, helping reduce our environmental footprint and support long-term energy efficiency.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we look forward to 2026, development is already well underway on a number of exciting new product ranges.
New launches planned for the coming year include SecureVUE, SoloVUE, and SphereVUE, with additional innovations to be announced throughout the year.
With continued investment in technology, people, and partnerships, 2026 is set to be another exciting chapter for Crystal Display Systems.
