The 10.1” HALO LED is here! Until now, HALO monitors have only been available in much larger sizes, commonly 27” and 43” being the most popular sizes.
LCD Displays with LED surrounds were originally introduced to make traditional monitor and touchscreen solutions more eye catching. Crystal Display Systems have an ever-increasing range which we brand as HALO displays. The most popular market is gaming where the LED HALO gives an almost NEON type glow around the active area of the display, but we are now seeing more applications in other industries including retail. The HALO displays are available either as a touch solution or non-touch to give a fully interactive solution.

Compact and aesthetic attractors
The non-touch still having a protective cover-glass to ensure an aesthetic looking solution. The LEDs are multicolour and can be sequenced to give hundreds of different lighting effects. This not only has the advantage of acting as an attractor but can also be triggered by the host player to show, for example, a big win. The internal smart LEDs are controlled either via our own USB LED controller, or any host electronics which can drive SM16703PB / SM16703P or similar LED chipsets.
To complement our standard 21.5”, 23.8”, 27”, and 43” HALO displays, we have introduced a smaller 10.1” HALO display (touch and non-touch). With a viewable area of 218×136 mm this gives a neat HALO solution where space may be at a premium. We are expecting our first samples imminently and initial interest is high.
