The Science Museum went above and beyond to include a transparent LCD in one of their exhibits.
They created temperature controlled custom made cabinets to protect their artefacts. This demonstrated that transparent displays can be used in combination with older more sensitive products that have to be carefully preserved.
The added touchscreens allow visitor interaction and control of the information provided plus further stimulates the users’ senses as they help bring the exhibits to life. An amazing addition to the transparency.
