Our transparent displays have been integrated at the Glasgow Science Centre for their latest exhibit showing the latest and cutting-edge research into cataracts 🙂
The experience development team did an amazing job of combining the transparent LCD displays with educational content showcasing a custom model eyeball inside.
The interactive exhibit will allow visitors to tap various parts of the model eye that they first unveil by ‘unzipping’ or swiping across the touchscreen.
The software displays information about the parts of the eye and shows how light travels through the lens of the eye, with and without a cataract.
The transparent LCD touch display has truly enhanced the exhibit, introducing a brand new and fresh experience for encouraging the audience to learn about cataracts by truly “seeing” the different sections of the eye.
