UV Resistance is of Utmost Importance Transportation systems and infrastructure equipment frequently operate in outdoor environments, necessitating the ability to withstand prolonged exposure to high levels of ambient light and direct sunlight. Without proper protection, extended UV (ultraviolet) radiation can lead to yellowing, hazing, and material aging and degradation. CDS PCAP touchscreen solutions undergo rigorous testing to meet industry standards.  Ambient Light Cannot be Overlooked High ambient light environments can impact display image clarity and visibility due to light reflections. To address this issue, optional optical bonding is employed to eliminate internal air gaps, thereby reducing internal reflections and refraction effects.
