BREAKING NEWS – Mitsubishi TFT LCD EOL Notice
We have recently been made aware that the complete Mitsubishi industrial LCD displays range has been made EOL. This is due to Mitsubishi Electric’s business withdrawal from TFT-LCD market.
Mitsubishi has long been known as a premium TFT-LCD supplier. Supplying to those markets where quality, performance and continuity of supply is the key factors in a design.
The Mitsubishi TFT LCD EOL Notice may come as a shock for many as well as being very disappointing. However, CDS are here to help our customers! We are currently in discussion regarding the last time buy (LTB) conditions. CDS will be able to support you with your last time buy requirement. We hope this will be helpful, allowing you time to design in a new product, which of course we can also assist you with!
CDS HIREL Range and Optical Bonding
Here at CDS we have our own HIREL range which we would hope to support you with as an alternative to your Mitsubishi TFT supply. Our HIREL range also incorporates bespoke touch sensors and optical bonding. Optical bonding provides many advantages for an industrial designed product. The HIREL TFT-LCD range consists of displays from 5” to 24” and closely following the Mitsubishi high bright, wide viewing angle, wide temperature design principles.
To clarify ALL Mitsubishi TFT-LCD have been discontinued and are on EOL status with no replacements available from Mitsubishi.
