Embedded SMART Displays

Introduction to CDS Embedded SMART Displays

The CDS Smart display lineup, also known as intelligent displays, offers a diverse range starting from a compact 1.3” with a resolution of 240×240, scaling up to a sizable 32.0” boasting a full 2K HD resolution of 1920×1080. This comprehensive range covers all the essential display sizes in-between, with additional options such as bar (stretch) and circular variants. Thanks to our partnership with leading TFT display manufacturers, we ensure a robust and consistent supply while staying agile in introducing new displays and cutting-edge display technologies to the embedded systems market through CDS’s Smart Display range. Our displays can be tailored to meet specific requirements, available both with and without touch functionality, offering a choice between resistive and capacitive touch technologies. Furthermore, we provide a full custom cover plate service to accommodate unique design needs.

A significant portion of our display range employs IPS display technology, delivering wide viewing angles and consistent image quality across all viewing directions. This flexibility allows seamless use of the displays in both landscape and portrait orientations. All displays come equipped with both FLASH and RAM memory, with the standard COB variants featuring an additional SD card slot for expanded storage options. Communication with peripheral devices is facilitated through integrated serial interfaces, including TTL/RS232/RS485 and CAN protocols. Certain models also offer a Wifi-10 interface for wireless connectivity.
