CDS is pleased to announce the G190EAN01 from AU Optronics,
• 19” colour TFT with 48.3 cm screen size in SXGA resolution

AU Optronics ais one of the world’s largest TFT manufacturers, producing their own glass in Taiwan. For all their industrial TFT range (from the industrial division with sizes from 4.3” to 24”) AUO assures a minimum 3 years availability.
Besides some wide format (16 : 9) panels, AUO also continues to produce new products in the “square” 5 : 4 format.
One new product the G190EAN01.0 has been designed especially for the medical market. Because of the new AHVA (similar to AFFS – advanced fringe field switching) technology the content can be read well out of all directions. Especially with monochrome content, there is only very little colour inversion!
Depending on the application in which a panel will be used, AUO offers TFTs in TN-technology (twisted nematic) as well as in wide viewing cone MVA-technology (multi-domain vertical alignment). Every technology obviously has its advantages and disadvantages as regards the contrast ratio, viewing angle, temperature range, color inversion, price, etc.
AUO is always checking the features very carefully to design a suitable product for each market sector and / or application with the ideal pricepoint.
With a brightness of 300°C and a temperature range of 0 to +50°C, the G190EAN01.0 can be used for many industrial applications.
For the future AUO is planning some more new products in the 19” size and in Q1 2015 the new G190ETN01.2 (TN-technology) with an extended operating temperature range of -35 + 85°C will be ready. Furthermore there is a new monochrome display planned with a brightness of 1000 cd may also be available.
