Arun Mahapatra, AUO America’s product marketing manager, explained in a post-CES interview that AUO is a global leader in visual display technologies, common in living rooms and gaming rooms worldwide.
“We’re extending our technology from the living room to the truck cab, especially the sleeper,” Mahapatra said. “Our displays and monitors enhance safety, efficiency, and comfort for drivers, while also boosting fleet logistics and maintenance efficiency.”

AUO’s Future Cockpit concept reimagines how drivers receive and process information, transforming vehicle-to-driver and vehicle-to-world communication. At the heart of this transformation is AUO’s micro LED technology. At CES, Simon Hsu, AUO’s associate vice president, described micro LEDs as the next-generation display technology. In the Smart Cockpit, these LEDs, combined with special films, create immersive automotive displays.
Micro LEDs offer high brightness, contrast, and colour saturation. A transparent micro LED display can serve as a vehicle window display, ensuring drivers never miss important information while maintaining visibility of the road.
