As the first member of the US sales team, you will be in an excellent position to help grow the team and the North American operation. Your tasks:
- Promote and sell Industrial Displays, Touchscreens, and Embedded Computers, understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Active acquisition of new customers
- Manage and expand customer accounts to achieve sales targets.
- Identify, specify, and design in products that will meet customer needs.
- Support all related sales, technical, pricing and after sales requirements.
- Meeting the sales targets of the area.
- Territory and account planning to meet the growth objectives.
- Travel regularly within the region to meet clients, attend industry events, and build a strong network.
- Working in close collaboration with Management teams in the UK.
- Visiting customers on a regular basis within the assigned territory and occasional travel to London for various meetings.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market share in North America.
- Work independently with a self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirit to achieve business objectives.
Your profile:
- Graduated in electrical and/or computer engineering or similar, or a number of years’ experience in the Displays industry.
- Proven track record of new business development and new customer acquisition.
- At least two years of relevant work experience in the Display, Touch or Embedded markets.
- Very good IT skills (MS-Office. Salesforce would be good, but training will be given).
- Entrepreneur mindset and “hunter” mentality being proactive, creative and a “can-do” mindset.
- Self-driven energetic personality with good negotiation skills
- Team player with self-assured behaviour, advanced communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- An A-Player that makes things happen. All action, less talk.
- Ability to effectively work alone, home based in the initial period.
- Proven sales management experience, specifically in Industrial Displays, Touchscreens, or Embedded Computers and strong understanding of the North American market and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely, achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
